Subliminal Messaging - is it legal?

Ok.. so if you use it the FCC says it will slap you, yet they fail to define what it is... which makes it tough to prove in court. Now has it been used? Yes. Who has used it? Disney (it was a disgruntled artists fault) , political canidates (unknowingly and by accident of course), Pepsi (art department did it, right?) and countless others ..... Why do they do it? To get you to buy their products, duh!

So why, after the US Supreme court called it an invasion of privacy, isn't it illegal?? Good question, there are no laws actually forbidding the use of it. There are tons of stuff on YouTube about this, a disney movies was even pulled in the 70's over it, dont' believe everything you see or hear, some of it is all crap, but this is something that should be outlawed.

Is the government holding onto your money??

Just recently, in these hard economic times, I have been hearing some awful things. The government is holding onto peoples cash. Annabelle's child support isn't coming in on time or regular even tho it is debited from the maniacs check regularly. A friend with four children can't get his food stamps and now they say his unemployment check is going to be a week late.

These may seem like tiny things but small disturbances in the order of our worlds can send things tailspinning quickly. How many days can the rent go unpaid? Will they shut off my electricity today or tomorrow? Things are getting tougher for everyone. In general it sucks!

Where do prostitutes come from?

It's not like many little girls think hmmmm... doctor? no. lawyer? no. prostitute? sure that's the job for me. Well I recently met an all American prostitute driven there by a need to be with her children and not to have to conform to the average society to make ends meet.

This is a single woman, age 40ish, who is trying to be home when she has access to her children, which she sees 1 week at a time. For one week she has her kids and then they go back to dad for one week. Ok, she did have a regular job but had a bad injury and lost her regular job. With the job market the way it is and the fact that any job she takes now the money will be eaten up by daycare, she chose to operate under the generasity of older men.

She tends to date elderly men, about 20 yrs her senior or more. She takes gifts for dates, she cooks them meals, cleans their homes, and services these gentleman. Now no one talks about this being "work" or "prostitution". No one discusses fees or anything of the like. They come over or she goes to their homes, makes them feel better, and sometimes (not always) they gift her a sum of money. One gentleman, she tells me, is good for between $200 - $500 per visit. However now that she is getting older these visits are slowing down.

She attempted to attend school, to better herself, and that is when she was injured. A small thing, like an extra bill or unexpected expense, can send this person into a spiral of despair. I watched today as she blew her last $20 on a new pair of high heels to make her feel better about herself because she can't pay her rent.

Most of her funds come from Child Support and Spousal Support from her failed marriage. She has a small number of bills; rent, electric, and cell phone yet she can not seem to manage these funds to pay those few bills first.

I follow this case with interest today Madamn X mentioned turning to stripping to make ends meet. I wait to see what, if anything, developes out of this.

A child lost in a sea of crap

OK... so Grandma & Grandpa Anthony want immunity now? What the hell? Suddenly they don't want to incriminate themselves? It seems strange to me the reaction they are having, perhaps it's just the move of a paranoid attorney but it makes them sound.... for lack of a better word... involved, doesn't it?

Of course there is also the fact the tip was called in so many times by the same guy, that can be explained but still sounds fishy.

The BIG one, the one that smells like week old fishy cheese, now the defense has video of the area before the body was found????? Did they video all the areas surrounding the grandparents home or did they just do this one?

To many unawnsered questions! Not enough facts floating around yet, the truth is one of those cloudy things, hard to make out, looks like something different to everyone, and damn hard to nail down.

Anthony's in the News

First; I never held much hope for the little girl after the news of the decomposing hair results. Someone was dead in the trunk, only person unaccounted for was Caylee. When people would say 'but the babysitter or she might have been kidnapped' I would ask "so who's dead in the trunk"

As for everyone saying George and Cindy are stupid or should have known denial! denial! denial! I have never been put in the horrible situation that the Anthony's are in so it is very hard to step into their shoes but I can try. Casey is their daughter, Caylee is their granddaughter, it is unimaginable as a parent to think your child would do anything like that let alone to their own child. Even if doubt crept in to say so out loud would be equally as painful as the realization that it was possible. So my heart goes out to the family.

One more thought on this case, if only so much media coverage could come for every missing child. Perhaps more of these angels would be returned unharmed.
